Bonhedd Gwŷr y Gogledd Yw Hyn
The following genealogy, commonly called Bonhedd Gwŷr y
Gogledd 'Descent of the Men of the North', is found in
Hengwrt MS. 536 and gives family lines for several of the famous
characters of the Old North.
The passages have been given in their original Medieval
Welsh, since they are easy enough to understand. The word
mab means 'son (of)', meib(y)on means 'sons (of)'
and a means 'and'.
